Nova Literary-Arts Magazine is a publication led by students at UNC Charlotte, which is released every year to showcase the creative work of artists and writers from across the world. With the 54th volume, our goal as a team was to highlight the relationship between art and dreams. The cover features vibrant, otherworldly imagery that depicts the boundless potential of our dreams, and the silhouetted figure at the bottom allows the audience to insert themselves into that world. The spreads use gradients and delicate 3D design work to reinforce the ideas and aesthetics of the cover, while also showcasing the contributors' written and visual art (or "dreams"). Our promotional materials for this publication were used to advertise our staff on social media and our annual gallery event, which is composed of art and writing from the magazine.
