Capturing a moment in time with a photo tells a story the same way that graphic design does. Therefore I approach photography the same way, using visual elements like composition, lighting, color, and more to enhance the story being told. But while the two are very similar in that regard, photography adds a deeper element by allowing you to be in the moment with the subjects and by letting you choose the decisive moment to click the shutter. This is a collection of photos from the time I spent studying in Rome this past summer, my UNC Charlotte College of Arts + Architecture internship, and freelance shoots.
